MoDOT will replace the Route A Bridge over Fishing River north of Liberty, closing the bridge starting Monday, May 17 for no more than 45 days, weather permitting.
A signed detour will be in place during the closure. Southbound traffic will need to take eastbound Route 92 to southbound I-35 to northbound Route 291 to Route A. Complete bridge closure is necessary to allow the contractor to complete the work quickly and get the bridges back open faster.
