Today will be full of history and adventure. Our day will begin with a visit to Pendleton's County Market, a family owned farm specializing in vegetable, bedding plant, and cut flowers. We will receive a tour of the farm including a visit to the butterfly garden. After lunch, we are headed to LeCompton, KS, the birthplace of the Civil War. The guided tour will include the Territorial Capitol museum, a play called Bleeding Kansas, and the Territorial Democratic Headquarters, where Abraham Lincoln was nominated.
