Celebrate Earth Day (April 22) by joining with friends, family and neighbors to clean up Liberty neighborhoods April 21-23.
The Liberty Parks & Rec and Planning & Development departments will provide trash bags, gloves and safety vests for the effort, while supplies last.
Materials will be available Friday, April 21 from 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Saturday and April 22 from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. at the Community Center, 1600 S. Withers Road. Because supplies are limited, be sure to call 816.439.4360 to make sure supplies are still available.
If you plan to participate, a signed release form must be on file with the Parks & Rec Department. You can bring the form with you to the Liberty Community Center when you pick up your supplies or email it to Hailey Kenkel, Community Services Coordinator.
You can set your full trash bags out with your trash and recycling on your regular trash day April 24-28, which is also the City's annual Spring Clean-Up Week.
