To celebrate Older Americans Month, the Liberty Silver Center is offering a variety of events to showcase Silver Center programs and services.

May 9: Wellness Wednesday
- Engage As We Age
- Presentation by Becky Franklin, LPC Older Adult Educator, Tri- County Mental Health
- Free blood pressure screenings at 10:30 a.m.
- Presentation begins at 11 a.m.
May 9: Watercolor with Giselle
May 16: Scamboree
- Learn some tips on what people may doing to scam you and how to avoid some common mistakes.
- Class runs 10-11:30 a.m.
May 17: Monthly Birthday Celebration
- Entertainment by Melissa & Company: 10:30 a.m.
May 23: Grand Bingo
- Runs from 10:30-11:30 a.m.
May 25: Karaoke with Dick Hendrix
- Karaoke is from 10:30 -11:30 a.m.
If you wish to stay for lunch on any day, please make reservations by noon the day prior. A $2 donation is requested for the meal for individuals aged 60 or better. Lunch for individuals under the age of 60 is $7. Reservations can be made by calling, 816.439.4368.
