2. As a part of the America 250 in Liberty celebration of the Semiquincentennial, 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, the City of Liberty will plant 250 trees in varieties that can live for the next 250 years! Join us in creating this lasting legacy by volunteering for a planting day in 2026.

   Complete the form below to sign up to help with this project. Planting days include:

   • Saturday, April 11 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
   • Saturday, October 24 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

   Additional information will be shared with all potential volunteers two weeks before each planting day. Questions about this volunteer opportunity can be directed to Erika Brant at ebrant@libertymo.gov.
