Athletic Field Reservations

  • To reserve an athletic field at a City owned facility, except fields at Fountain Bluff Sports Complex, please call 816-439-4389.
  • To reserve an athletic field at Fountain Bluff Sports Complex, please call 816-439-4391.

Shelter Reservations

  • Shelters are available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis or can be reserved for a fee. All shelter reservations are non-refundable.
  • Reservations may be made in person at the Liberty Community Center during regular facility hours or over the phone at 816-439-4360.
  • Reservations are for a full day (10 a.m.-10 p.m.)
  • Water for restrooms and drinking fountains is typically turned on at the beginning of April and turned off at the end of October, weather permitting. If you are reserving a shelter in early April or late October, please check with staff to ensure water is available.
  • Shelter facilities are available at Bennett Park (2), City Park (2), Ruth Moore Park (1), and Stocksdale Park (2).

    • Fees:
      • Weekday: $30 resident/$45 non-resident
      • Weekend & Holidays: $50 resident/$75 non-resident
      • SHELTER RESERVATIONS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. However, reservations cancelled two weeks prior to the event may be transferred to another day and/or location (pending availability) without penalty.
