This low cost program is designed for youth who are planning on joining a swim team for the first time or as a repeat participant needing additional guidance. Participants will focus on refining free style, backstroke, breast stroke, and butterfly while building necessary strength training drills. Individuals will be grouped based off skill level. Workouts will include cardiovascular conditioning, streamlining, diving blocks, & flip turns. (This program is designed around a "coaching" format.)
This 30 minute “IN & OUT” program is designed for youth who already have experience on a swim team and wants to focus on the individual components of each of the four main strokes, flip turns, and starts. This six class program will focus on only one technique per day. Day (1) starts. Day (2) flip turns. Day (3) free style. Day (4) backstroke. Day (5) breast stroke. Day (6) butterfly. Unlike other preseason programs, this program is not necessarily designed as an endurance training program, rather skill refinement.
