NEW Leagues for 2020

Registration Opens Monday, January 6, 2020

Liberty Parks & Rec offers multiple divisions of baseball leagues in the spring, summer and fall to accommodate multiple ages and skill levels. New for 2020, we will be offering a new league format, season ending tournament and turf on all 9 fields at Fountain Bluff Sports Complex. We are constantly improving our programs to offer the best options for the youth in the community.

Training League

  • 5U-7U age groups
  • Coach pitch and machine pitch
  • 10 game season
  • Uniforms are not provided
  • Individual registration
  • $130 per player

American League

  • 8U-14U age groups
  • 10 game season plus season ending tournament
  • Uniforms are not provided
  • Individual registration and full teams
  • $150 per player

Select League

  • 8U-16U age groups
    • Silver Division (A, AA)
    • Gold Division (AAA, Major)
  • 12 game season plus season ending tournament
  • All teams must be sanctioned with USSSA and will receive 100 USSSA points
  • Uniforms are not provided
  • Must have full team, no individual (non team) registrations allowed
  • $190 per player 

Rec Baseball League - Spring 2020

Spring Youth Rec Baseball League is designed with multiple age divisions and levels of competition. This program emphasizes fun, participation and teamwork. Participants are guaranteed playing time in the field and at bat. 

  • For boys ages 6-12
  • Divisions for 7 yr. Machine Pitch, 8 yr. Machine Pitch, 9-10 Rec, and 11-12 Rec.
  • Individual registration

Coaching Information

This league is dependent upon volunteer coaches. If you are interested in coaching and would like to help with the program, please email or call 816.439.4389. For more details on what coaching with LPR requires, check out our coaching opportunities.

Scholarship Program

If you need any assistance to participate in a sports program, please check out the Liberty Parks & Rec Foundation Scholarship Programs.  These scholarships can make LPR programs and activities more accessible by partially covering the cost of current registration fees for youth who qualify.
