Award Winning Youth Sports Programs

Liberty Parks & Rec (LPR) has been awarded the Better Sports for Kids Quality Program Provider designation for 2019-2020. This designation is a seal of commitment to quality and safety based on nationally accepted standards. Achieving this designation demonstrates LPR has undergone a review process and has shown a commitment to the children and families we serve.

LPR was evaluated in the following categories:

  •  Written policies and procedures
  •  Volunteer screening
  •  Coach training
  •  Parent education
  •  Accountability

With only 50 designations a year, LPR is the second municipality in the State of Missouri to have received this award and the fourth association to receive this award for 2019.
